Alright ladies and gentlemen, more than 10 of you have asked me to answer this question. After looking at a few answers, I now feel obligated to spend my precious time enlightening you on what is really happening behind the scenes with 99.99% of these sites or any other one you want to run by me.
Respectively, they are all hocus pocus and scamming you with fake followers in addition to being granted access to your account.
Instagram is having a huge problem with third party applications right now. Everyone wants to be a word I started throwing around about 3 years ago, INSTAFAMOUS. That said, when you connect your account to one of these apps that’s guaranteeing followers a few things are happening which you most likely do not know about:
First and foremost, you are granting them access through a “token” to use your account as they see fit. So if you have ever had someone randomly commenting on your account or someone commented to you saying “why did you mention my name in this post” OR “who are you?” then you know exactly what I’m talking about here. It is the dark world of Instagram.
I said 99.99% of the sites are fake because for over 3 years most of my time has been spent mastering the Instagram Platform and growing, building, and helping the 1-percenters (NFL Players, Celebrities, Models, and Brands) create AUTHENTIC engagement and followers to their Instagram account. My firm is very niche, call it a boutique marketing firm, and we never request access to your account until formal trust and credibility is established.
